My week at Fall Creek Falls with PLMI was unforgettable.  The park has
the most breathtaking view of the sun rising on the lake.  Every morning I
would open the curtains just to soak up the view.  The people that I met
there were warm and friendly.  I want to thank those for making me feel
comfortable and encouraging me to be part of the team.  I will be totally
honest, the first couple of days I was very nervous, but once I relaxed I
enjoyed myself.
Heather opened my eyes to so much.  I hope I don't forget any of the
important information she told us.  I hope now that I'm back at the library
I can strengthen my skills and make the right decisions when it counts the
most.
I look forward to seeing everyone soon, take care.

  1. I enjoyed the location of Fall Creek Falls as well. I think it helped take the edge off the information overload we were on. I'm so excited to have met everyone and to have learned so much already. Looking forward to next year!!

  2. My week was pretty amazing too. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know my classmates and sharing experiences that can make us and our libraries better. I was pretty anxious that first night. But, when you and Fayrene were so friendly and talked to me, I knew everything would be okay if everyone was as nice as you all. As it turns out, they were. We did have to absorb a lot of information and do some things that I wasn't comfortable doing. However, I think that I will be a better library manager for participating in this class.

  3. I really enjoyed Fall Creek Falls too. It was my first time going and it really was beautiful. I think we all were nervous about this new venture but it has encouraged me to be a better librarian too!
